Our felt range is manufactured using acrylic fibres which are non toxic and safe for use by children and is accredited to the toy standard BS EN71 Part 2 Flammability and EN71- Part 3 Toxicity 2013 for safe use in children’s toys and costumes.
In accordance with the EU Toy Safety Directive – Chemical Risk Management EN71 Part 3 – 2013 samples of the felt have been tested by an independently accredited UK testing laboratory and on the 17th September 2013 found to fully comply with the EU Directive EN71 Part 3 2013 in respect of the levels of heavy metals as stipulated in the directive that may or may not be present.
This statement therefore confirms our felt derivatives comply with the EU Toy Safety Directive – Chemical Risk Management EN71 Part 3 2013. We can also confirm our felt derivatives comply with the EU Toy Safety Directive – EN71 Part 2 Flammability.
